MINDFULNESS LIVING

You Deserve to Live Your Best, Healthy Life!

There is no question that 2020 was not the year that anyone expected. Many people experienced pain and suffering, anxiety, and doubt. Living in these uncertain times has led many to wonder how we can thrive and accomplish our goals. Yet, it has also given us an opportunity to step back and think about what's really important.


Let me backup a bit and share my story. It's been CRAY-CRAY! One thing after another kept happening and at one or another I felt defeated. I felt hopeless. Then one day someone reached out to check on me because they could tell that I wasn't showing up as my best self. I appreciated that. It was a reminder that people depend on me to inspire, motivate, and lead them so it was a reminder to me to practice what I preached! I had to look within.


With all of the uncertainty, especially not knowing when I'd feel comfortable to travel (which is one of my favorite things to do), I had to shift. Shift my mindset. I began to focus on what I know works...what I believe in - YOGA and MEDITATION. I had to quiet my mind from all the thoughts of doubt and fear that were clouding my brain.


What I know for sure is that STRESS impacts our mental state and our physical body more than we realize. It's more important than ever to embrace mindfulness practices that will help you relax and regain your sense of balance.


You can eat all the healthy foods you want (and I surely hope that you do!), but if it's coupled with a stressful lifestyle that you don't manage well, you may not be winning like you could be!

WELLNESS - MIND, BODY, SPIRIT. A healthy lifestyle is not just the food you consume, or the muscles you've worked so hard for, or your spiritual practice - It's all of it.

What is Mindfulness?

Mindfulness is the state of being deliberate in your thinking and your actions. Being aware of what one may not ordinarily be aware of. Being present as opposed to focusing on the past or the future.


Compassion, kindness, and non-judgement is cultivated by a continual mindfulness practice.
